Teresa Moore was born in the small Pacific island capital, Nuku?alofa, Tonga and at the age of 10, the family moved to Auckland, New Zealand. Her mother agency is 62 Models in New Zealand and she is represented by 5 other agencies worldwide. She has pursued a successful modeling career and is booked for magazines, runway shows, print and advertisements for top fashion labels. She has worked with top fashion photographers such as Ellen Von Unwerth, Greg Kadel, Solve Sundsbo, Pamela Hanson, Ruven Afanador and many more.

 
 

In early 2006, Teresa Moore appeared in a superbowl commercial for Tabasco in a white bikini and received major press. Her commercial was aired as the first commercial after half time break. She debuted in the United States market when she signed a cosmetics contract with Neutrogena. The campaign ran in a series of internationally sold women's beauty magazines, including Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Allure and Elle. Along with several other Victoria's Secret and international sport stars, Moore was also asked to represent New Zealand at the America's Cup fashion show for Triumph Lingerie in Valencia. Teresa Moore was voted the sexiest woman in New Zealand and the 23rd sexiest woman in the world in 2010 by E! Entertainment TV. Following her success with Women Model Management in New York, Teresa Moore became one of the highest earning new faces as a teenager and continues to work for lucrative high fashion, commercial and beauty brands.

Teresa has shot campaigns for Levis, Sephora, Neutrogena, Aveda, Clairol and the L'Oreal Group to name a few, and has graced the covers of numerous fashion magazines including W and ELLE. Other fashion publications have featured Teresa in editorials such as Cosmopolitan, Glamour, TANK, Marie Claire, Elle, Spanish Vogue, Mexican Vogue and British Harper's Bazaar.

 

In 2009, Moore was signed as one of the faces of British fashion retailer Marks and Spencers. Moore debuted in their 125-year anniversary ad campaign, and continued representing their Autograph range for several seasons.

 

Teresa Moore also appeared as the guest judge on New Zealand's Next Top Model in 2011, which was the highest airing reality show in the country. She also became the new face of Bacardi shot by Ellen von Unwerth, which was renewed for a second year in 2013 as a worldwide campaign including 5 story tall billboards in major US cities.

In 2013 and 2014 she starred in the US nationwide Kia Cadenza commercial wearing a Herve Leger dress showcasing the premier luxury model for car maker Kia, directed by Samuel Bayer, famous for directing Justin Timberlake, Metallica and Eminem music videos. 

Teresa Moore also made her first acting appearance in the Twentieth Century Fox pilot Gotham and continues to study acting in New York.

in 2014 Teresa's blossoming acting career has landed her guest-star roles on "The Mysteries of Laura" with Debra Messing on NBC, and "Law and Order- SVU" on NBC with Shiloh Fernandez, Patti LuPone, Jeremy Jordan and Ice T. Teresa's acting career is managed by CESD New York.

IF YOU STRUGGLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT, WHAT DO YOU DO TRY AND SOOTHE YOURSELF TO SLEEP? Ujai breathe... breath in deep for 4 counts, hold 4 counts, breath out 6 counts, hold 2 counts, repeat sequence.

ANY BEAUTY TIPS? Eat lots of vegetables and fruits, lean meat and fish, no processed foods, have a good nights sleep, use good serums and simple moisturizers. Pilates and running is the best workout combination.

ANY ADVICE FOR ASPIRING MODELS? Make sure you have a good head on your shoulders, get an agency that believes in you, check your accounting and treat your body like a temple. Don't trust promoters. There are a lot of promises and ups and downs so you need to have tools like meditation or good friends and family to help you feel grounded.

IF YOU GO BACK TO ONE POINT IN TIME TO GIVE ADVICE TO YOURSELF, WHEN WOULD YOU GO AND WHAT WOULD YOU SAY? You are stronger than you think. Be nicer to people, make more connections. Don't be so cheap. Do things sooner and don't put stuff you want to do off till later. Time is precious.

WHAT GET YOU OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING? A combination of Excitement, Duty or Sunshine

WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY? Good food, compliments, nice people around me, warm weather, a good nights sleep, new ideas and interesting conversation.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE SMELLS? Tom Ford Black Orchid and Fresh Laundry.

BEST PLACES YOU HAVE BEEN TO? New York, Paris, Marrakech, Greece and Hawaii.

ARE THERE ANY CHILDHOOD POSSESSIONS YOU STILL HOLD ONTO? My father's ashes are in a locket he made when he made jewelry as a hobby. It's very precious to me. My good girlfriend opened it once and the powder went everywhere and she thought it was drugs! I told her it was his ashes and she started crying! I assured her I had a whole box of his ashes left so not to worry. Very funny.

HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOUR CREATIVITY? I write, blog and film "Where to Eat and What to Wear" for TeresaTastes.com , Yahoo Travel and other online food, fashion and travel publications. I also like to sing karaoke with friends.
